About Friendship Family Home

Founded in 1988 and nestled in the heart of McBain, Michigan, Friendship Family Home provides a nurturing and supportive environment for adult women with developmental disabilities. As a licensed Adult Foster Care home, we adhere to the stringent standards set by the Department of Consumer and Industry Services, ensuring a safe, healthy, and loving environment for our residents.

Our home was built with the heartfelt contributions of time, labor, and funds from the extended community across Wexford, Missaukee, and Osceola counties. Thanks to these generous contributions and the continued support of our community, we have been mortgage-free and well-maintained, allowing us to focus fully on the care and development of our residents.

Our Community Impact

Our Community Impact
Friendship Family home has served many residents, 3 of them were original residents when the doors opened in 1990; 1 of those original residents is still living at the Home! Our home is more than just a residence; it is a vibrant community where the residents participate in local events, enjoy recreational activities, and receive personalized care tailored to their individual needs.

We are a Private 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation, and all donations to Friendship Family Home are tax-deductible. Your support allows us to continue providing exceptional care and engaging opportunities for our residents.
